On Saturday, October 31, 2009, on the Eve of All Saints’ Day, bishops, clergy and laity from around the United States, Canada and Uganda gathered in Newport Beach for the ordination and consecration of William Avery Thompson as first Bishop of the Diocese of Western Anglicans. The service was held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.Because I'm kind of a liturgy nerd, I love watching moments like these. The cantor isn't half bad either!
